Dear Parents and Carers,

Following the latest Government guidelines regarding the Coronavirus all pupils are expected to stay at home, for the foreseeable future. School will be operating with a significantly reduced staff workforce, making provision for the children of key workers’ and particularly vulnerable pupils, only.

To support you in helping to keep your child safe during this time we have attached a list of online resources that you may find valuable. However, If you have a specific safeguarding concern, please contact School on 0161 881 7843 and ask to speak to myself, (Designated Safeguarding Lead), or Mrs Griffin, (Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead) - between 9:00am and 3:30pm.

Alternatively, (or outside of school hours), you can call children’s services directly.

To support families at this difficult time the school is providing access to remote learning via the school website. Please click on the Class Pages tab on the website and a drop down menu will appear for each class. Each class has a bespoke programme of work – refreshed each week during term time.

With so many of our children and families told to stay at home we acknowledge that your child may be spending more time than usual on-line. Additionally, the accompanying Life skills activity checklist may encourage your child to engage in more practical pursuits around the home.

If you would like to discuss anything further, or require additional support, please contact myself, or Mrs Griffin in school.

Yours faithfully,

J Cassidy
