Throughout the School year our Chaplaincy team engage in a range of events and activities to help prepare the wider school community for opportunities to celebrate our Catholic faith.
These activities include a Class retreat, which takes place throughout the school year, for all classes in at the Spiritan Centre in Salford. The School Chaplain, working with staff in each Class team plan a day of activity, where each pupil can explore further their relationship with God and develop a greater understanding of themselves and the role God has planned for them.
The Chaplaincy team visit the Spiritan Centre also to plan for the significant liturgical events we have in Lent and Advent and also in planning for other faith celebrations.
The attached Liturgical Planner identifies the activities we develop annually for the Children and Young People of SJV.
Parents are always welcome to join us in our Catholic Faith Celebrations in School.
