Our Aims and Mission

About us

St John Vianney RC School prides itself on its professionalism, in encouraging learners to achieve their very best and in developing respect and consideration for others. We ensure that pupils are challenged so that they reach the highest expectations, but they do so in a nurturing and caring environment.

We understand our learners and their needs and this is catered for in everything we do. We help learners and staff find their talents and ensure that they have every opportunity to develop that talent, so that they ‘can live life, and have it to the full’ (John 10;10).

We are committed to life-long learning and hope that as pupils and staff start their journey with us, that we can develop a love of learning and a desire to do the best that they can. We aim to give people the skills they need so they can make a valuable contribution to society and fulfil their dreams.

We are a fully inclusive school and recognise that everyone has a vital part to play in St John Vianney’s development.

Our Mission Statement

Our Mission Statement provides a vision by which we can reach our aims and objectives.  It encapsulates the central values and guiding beliefs that the school seeks to foster and promote. The Mission Statement is the foundation for all relationships and interactions within our school community.  It is St John Vianney School’s commitment to each other.
